Los Angeles Dodgers' magic number to clinch NL West remains two

DENVER -- For the second day in a row, the Los Angeles Dodgers will look to clinch the NL West at Coors Field. For the second day in a row, they're going to need some help.

The Dodgers' magic number is still two.

Many of the Dodgers watched parts of the San Francisco Giants' 14-10 win at Oakland before their Saturday evening game, which turned into an 8-6 loss when Carlos Gonzalez homered off reliever Yimi Garcia in the bottom of the ninth. Now, the Dodgers will look to avoid the sweep in Colorado while hoping Oakland can beat the Giants. If both of those things happen, the Dodgers will celebrate their third straight NL West title before boarding a plane for San Francisco.

If not, they have four straight games in San Francisco to finish it off before completing their regular season at home against the San Diego Padres. The Dodgers are 0-6 at AT&T Park this season.
