How good are things going for the Lakers since Andrew Bynum's return? So good his very presence seems to have fixed not only Pau Gasol, but some of the playback issues we've had with the Lakers Late Night program. For one night, at least.
And what a night it was (for the Lakers, not us)! L.A. rolled into Conseco Fieldhouse and more than avenged last month's loss to the Pacers at Staples.
On tonight's show, we note the symmetry in how the Lakers performed on both ends of the back to back- an efficient beatdown of Washington on Tuesday, followed by an even more economical, balanced mauling of Indiana Wednesday night. Pau Gasol was again outstanding, dominating the first half and proving Andrew Bynum, who was quiet over his 17 minutes of play, need not be incredible, just available.
From there, we break down an uptick in Ron Artest's play, answer viewer questions about the Sasha Vujacic trade and whether Bynum will continue coming off the bench even when he's fully up to speed, and preview Friday's game in Philly. Hope you enjoy it, and remember to keep an eye after every game for the start time of the show. (We send it out over the Twitter feeds for both the blog and ESPNLA.)
