The Lakers have taken care of the final bits of summer business, at least as it relates to this season's roster. As ESPNLA.com's Dave McMenamin reports, second rounders Devin Ebanks and Derrick Caracter have agreed to terms.
Ebanks signed today, agreeing to a two-year, non-guaranteed deal netting him the rookie minimum assuming he makes the team, which he's almost certain to do. Caracter, who is set to make things official on Friday, gets a guaranteed first year with a team option for a second, says agent Happy Walters.
Assuming both are on the roster when the regular season opens- something odd would have to happen for either to get cut- the team will carry 14 players this year, something of a necessity given the uncertainty surrounding Luke Walton's health.
