Basketball schedule released

USC basketball has finally released its long-awaited 2010-11 basketball schedule.

Highlights include an early tilt with Big-12 power Texas on Dec. 5 at the Galen Center and consecutive games at Kansas and Tennessee in mid-December. The Trojans will not be participating in the Diamond Head Classic in Hawaii -- as they did last year -- but will instead compete in a cross-country tournament known as the Hall of Fame Classic, featuring such teams as Rider and Bradley.

The schedule was released much later than is considered normal. By comparison, UCLA released its on June 28.
