Sources: D.J. White heading back to China

The Sichuan Blue Whales in China are doubling the number of big men from the NBA on their roster.

Sources in China tell ESPN.com that Sichuan is finalizing a deal with 2008 first-round draft pick D.J. White, who was in training camp with the Chicago Bulls last month but was forced to find employment abroad when the Bulls decided to keep only 13 players on their roster.

White will be joining former Memphis and Phoenix big man Hamed Haddadi, who in 2008 became Iran's first NBA player.

White has had stints with Oklahoma City, Charlotte and Boston in the NBA in addition to spending time with the Yao Ming-owned Shanghai Sharks in China.
