Dolphins work out six defensive backs

The Miami Dolphins are trying to overcome the injury bug on defense. As a result, they worked out six defensive backs on Monday.

Miami worked out defensive backs Ryan Mouton, Ron Bartell, Jacob Lacey, DeMarcus Van Dyke, Jalil Brown and Terrence McGee. Dolphins starting cornerback Dimitri Patterson has a groin injury that is slow to improve. Rookie corners Jamar Taylor (groin) and Will Davis (toe) also are working their way back from injuries.

The Dolphins are 20th against the pass through three games. Miami will play another high-powered passing attack next week when the team travels to face Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints on “Monday Night Football.”
