DAVIE, Fla. -- Miami Dolphins Pro Bowl offensive lineman Mike Pouncey practiced Monday, just 48 hours after he injured his knee in Saturday's preseason win over the Atlanta Falcons.
Pouncey took an MRI on his knee Sunday and said it went well.
"I'm feeling real good; I will be at practice today," Pouncey said in the locker room. "I'm really going to take it day by day, and coaches will determine how much playing time [against Tampa Bay]."
The Dolphins may rest key starters like Pouncey for Thursday's preseason finale against the Buccaneers. The goal is to keep veterans healthy for the Sept. 13 regular-season opener against the Washington Redskins.
