Vikings practice squad player Isame Faciane charged with misdemeanor DWI

MINNEAPOLIS -- Isame Faciane, an offensive lineman on the Minnesota Vikings' practice squad, was charged with three misdemeanors on Thursday after being arrested on suspicion of DWI on Wednesday in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

The 25-year-old was charged with fourth-degree DWI, driving without a valid license and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol level above Minnesota's legal limit of 0.08. His arrest is believed to be the first for a Vikings player since cornerback Jabari Price was arrested on suspicion of DWI following the team's final game of the 2014 season.

Faciane, who is in his third season with the Vikings, shifted from the defensive line to the offensive line before last season, and has remained on the Vikings' practice squad as an offensive lineman.
