Shaq, aka DJ Diesel, will hype the crowd at TomorrowWorld with a special a Trap set. In an effort to give the 7'1 superstar a crash course in Trap performance etiquette, Elite Daily has enlisted EDM duo, The Chainsmokers, to make sure Shaq's prepared for TomorrowWorld. The Chainsmokers, consisting of Alex Pall & Drew Taggart, gave ESPN Music the rundown of their experience with the MVP: "We were a little nervous at first, you never really know how cool someone is going to be especially when you crash their house, but the moment we met him it was love at first site. We ate pancakes together and then watched him apply moisturizer to himself for what felt like an hour."
The Chainsmokers have become known for their funny antics on social media. So when Elite Daily and TomorrowWorld reached out with the Shaq idea, they jumped at the opportunity. But was DJ-in-training able to keep up with their humor? "The dude is so good at improv it was jokes all day... We would just give him a scenario and let him roll with it and for the most part it turned out pretty funny," the Chainsmokers continued, "what we were most surprised about is the dude is a renaissance man, he can do anything he puts his mind to and the little bit of DJing we heard from him was pretty solid!"
Alex & Drew went on to say, "This was one of the coolest experiences we have ever had. We both grew up admiring Shaq for his amazing acting in movies like Kazaam and Steel so for us it was really exciting to get a chance to act alongside such an actor."
