Report: Teletovic, Weems need to step up

The Phoenix Suns brought in five players in the summer via free agency and to start the season, guard/forward Sonny Weems and forward Mirza Teletovic are not producing. The Suns need both players to step up soon. From Zach Buchanan of The Arizona Republic:

"Teletovic has averaged 1.3 points and 7.3 minutes a game, and Weems has chipped in 0.8 points in 11.5 minutes. ... Both players certainly are going through a bit of an adjustment. Weems, who agrees he’s been tentative with his shot, played the past four seasons in Europe. ... Teletovic said he hasn’t spoken to (head coach Jeff) Hornacek about more time on the court to find his shot, although he expects his 'time will come.' Hornacek, for his part, believes Teletovic could still be knocking off rust after he missed half of last season with blood clots in his lungs."

While Weems and Teletovic are not offering much, Jon Leuer and Ronnie Price have played well off the bench and they will likely stay in the rotation.
