Report: Pacers much needed return home

The Indiana Pacers will return to Banker Life Fieldhouse for their next four games after playing nine of their last 11 on the road. Maybe some home cooking can help the Pacers on defense. Paul George & Co. conceded 100 points or more in all of their six road losses in January so far.

Indiana hasn’t had its full complement of players -- Ian Mahinmi and Rodney Stuckey are dealing with injuries. Meanwhile, starting point guard George Hill remains on paternity leave after the birth of his son.

Candace Buckner of the Indy Star has more from coach Frank Vogel and forward Lavoy Allen about the Pacers' return home:

"So, where does the team go from here? 'Home,' Pacers coach Frank Vogel answered wryly. There, within the friendly settings of Bankers Life Fieldhouse over the next four games, the Pacers may find their defense. ... 'Terrible,' Allen said in evaluating the road trip. 'We barely won that one. Phoenix came back (a 97-94 win by the Pacers). It wasn’t really a good trip. I think we gave up way too many points. Our defense wasn’t that good.'"
