Sacramento Kings general manager Pete D’Alessandro has made several moves since arriving in Sacramento in June 2013. Two players he inherited are still with the team: DeMarcus Cousins and Jason Thompson. Here’s a look at how the current roster was created:
Signed as free agents:
Omri Casspi, Darren Collison, Ryan Hollins, Carl Landry, Eric Moreland (undrafted free agent), David Stockton.
Acquired in the NBA draft:
Thompson was selected by the Kings in the first round (12th overall) of the 2008 draft.
Cousins was selected by the Kings in the first round (fifth overall) of the 2010 draft.
Ben McLemore was selected by the Kings in the first round (seventh overall) of the 2013 draft.
Ray McCallum was selected by the Kings in the second round (36th overall) of the 2013 draft.
Nik Stauskas was selected by the Kings in the first round (eighth overall) of the 2014 draft.
Acquired via trade:
Reggie Evans was acquired in a trade with Brooklyn.
Rudy Gay was acquired in a trade with Toronto.
Andre Miller was acquired in a trade with Washington.
Derrick Williams was acquired in a trade with Minnesota.
