The Utah Jazz summer team will move on to the Las Vegas Summer League right after the Utah Jazz Summer League ends. Center Jack Cooley is really excited to play against Philadelphia on Thursday and then Minnesota in Las Vegas next week. From Jody Genessy of the Deseret News:
- "It might only be the summer league, but Utah Jazz big man Jack Cooley doesn’t need any extra motivation getting pumped up for games. There are two, in particular, that the Jazz center is looking forward to playing. The first takes place Thursday in the Utah Jazz Summer League finale against the Philadelphia 76ers. The second will happen Monday at the Las Vegas Summer League when Utah takes on the Minnesota Timberwolves. It’s not just because of those teams, either. Rather, Cooley has sights set on their young, big potential stars -- Jahlil Okafor (Sixers) and Karl-Anthony Towns (T-Wolves). 'It’s extremely exciting,' Cooley said. 'Luckily, on our schedule we have Philly and we have Minnesota … between here and Vegas. To say I have those two dates circled, I do. It’s going to be really good to go out there and play against really good competition and get better personally.'"
