Report: Suns eager to see more from Knight

The Phoenix Suns on Friday announced the signing of guard Brandon Knight, a restricted free agent. Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic chronicles Knight's injury issues last season:

"Knight played only 11 games for the Suns last season after he was acquired Feb. 19 from Milwaukee on the day Goran Dragic was dealt. Knight missed eight games before trying to return but aggravated the heel while trying to plant in transition. He then sat out the rest of the season and underwent offseason ankle surgery."

Knight, the No. 8 overall draftee in 2011 with the Detroit Pistons, averaged 13.4 points and 4.5 assists in 31.6 minutes in his brief time with the Suns. He will attend a news conference on Monday in Phoenix.
