Knicks, Magic set record for fewest combined points in a quarter

The New York Knicks and Orlando Magic combined to score 15 points in the second quarter of their game Saturday, the fewest combined points scored in any of the 209,888 quarters played in the shot-clock era which dates back to 1954-55. According to Elias Sports Bureau, the last game with 15 points in a quarter was on March 13, 1953, when, in the third period, the Indianapolis Olympians outscored the Milwaukee Hawks, 11–4.
