The Phoenix Suns tip off the 2015-16 regular on Oct. 28 against Dallas and they may have already set their roster for the first game by waiving two players on Thursday. From the Suns Media Department:
- "The Phoenix Suns have waived forward Kyle Casey and guard Terrico White. Both players initially signed with the Suns on Sept. 16. Casey played six minutes in one appearance this preseason, while White totaled eight minutes in two appearances. The Suns’ roster now stands at 15 players."
Those two transactions put them right at the roster limit, which means the Suns don't have to waive center Henry Sims or forward Cory Jefferson by Oct. 26 when all NBA rosters are set for the start of the regular season. Both players do not have any salary protection for the season, so they could still be waived at any point.
