An ode to cookie cakes and recruiting's culinary delights

Giant steaks and cookie cakes. And maybe anything else in the culinary world has been used to help welcome a recruit on an official visit or sway him to a particular school.

You gotta eat, right?

For Texas Tech commit Breiden Fehoko, Guns Up and Cowboy cuts go hand in hand. At Minnesota, recruits visit coach Jerry Kill's house and get treated to an omelet bar. And committing to the Gophers gets something extra. More often than not, the sweets become the biggest recruiting tool. But the pinnacle of recruiting cuisine is, of course, the cookie cake.
