ESPN's College GameDay headed to Waco for Oklahoma-Baylor

Jarrett Stidham: 'We're fighting for one another' (1:29)

Baylor QB Jarrett Stidham breaks down his performance in the Bears' 31-24 win over Kansas State and why his team can face the challenge of their remaining Big 12 schedule. (1:29)

ESPN’s College GameDay crew is heading to Waco on Saturday, where Baylor will host Oklahoma in a game that will have significant implications on the College Football Playoff and the Big 12 race.

Undefeated Baylor, which has faced repeated criticism for its schedule to date, will face its first ranked opponent of the season. At No. 6 in the first ranking by the selection committee, the Bears were the highest-ranked team in the Big 12 and are coming off a 31-24 Thursday night win over Kansas State with backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham.

Oklahoma is trying to shake off a loss to rival Texas and play its way back into the playoff conversation by winning out. A loss, however, would eliminate the Sooners as a playoff contender.

It’s another chance for somebody from the Big 12 to make a statement to the selection committee after the league was snubbed last season.
