Air Force avoids the upset

AIR FORCE ACADEMY -- Air Force should be commended for its comeback.

The Falcons looked terrible in the first half, but surged back in the second to score on four of their five second half drives and come away with a result similar to previous games against the Black Knights.

Air Force now puts itself in a position to share the Commander-in-Chief Trophy, but it would need Army to have a huge upset of Navy in the final game of the season.

With the win, Air Force is bowl eligible for the third consecutive year.

I’m going down to talk to both teams about the game and the Commander-in-Chief Trophy.
