CMU's LeFevour becomes MAC all-time passing leader

Central Michigan quarterback Dan LeFevour on Wednesday became the Mid-American Conference’s all-time leader in passing yardage, surpassing former Marshall quarterback Byron Leftwich.

LeFevour completed 25 of 28 passes for 344 yards and four touchdowns in the Chippewas' 35-3 win over Ball State on Wednesday. He now has 12,000 career passing yards. Leftwich’s record was 11,903.

LeFevour now holds MAC career records for passing yards, total offense (14,861 yards), completions (1,083) and attempts (1,628) and ranks third in touchdown passes (96).

LeFevour also ran for 59 yards and a touchdown in Wednesday's win. He’s now thrown for 22 touchdowns and rushed for 14 this season, including 11 total touchdowns in the past two games.
