STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- We're about 30 minutes away from kickoff here at Beaver Stadium, and both teams are on the field for warm-ups.
Still no official announcement on Penn State's starting quarterback, but it looks like freshman Rob Bolden will get the call. Northwestern quarterback Dan Persa has been fully cleared since the middle of the week.
Penn State's students are a little late to arrive today. The student section is only about 20 percent full, although there are several good signs. My personal favorite: "Derek Es Moye Bien."
Joe Paterno is walking around, taking a few pictures with fans and watching the quarterbacks.
