LB Jamie Collins back at practice for Patriots

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots linebacker Jamie Collins, who missed the last three games with an undisclosed illness, returned to the practice field Friday for the first time since Nov. 6.

Collins' absence has been a hot topic in New England, in part because there have been limited details as to what has kept him out. Up until this week, Collins hadn't even been spotted at the team's facility.

On Wednesday, one Patriots teammate told ESPN's Michele Steele it was good to have Collins back with the team.

Collins first landed on the injury report Nov. 7, with the Patriots listing him as having an illness. He was the team's leading tackler at that point in the season.
