Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski misses practice with illness

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was held out of Friday's practice because of an illness, according to the team's injury report. Gronkowski, who has also been limited in practice because of his hamstring, is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Elsewhere on the Patriots' injury report, linebacker Jonathan Freeny (shoulder) and tight end Greg Scruggs (knee) have already been ruled out.

Meanwhile, along with Gronkowski, 11 other players are questionable:

TE Martellus Bennett (right ankle)

RB LeGarrette Blount (hip)

RB Brandon Bolden (knee)

OT Marcus Cannon (calf)

LB Jamie Collins (hip)

WR Julian Edelman (foot)

QB Jimmy Garoppolo (right shoulder)

DE Shea McClellin (concussion)

WR Malcolm Mitchell (hamstring)

G Joe Thuney (shoulder)

DT Vincent Valentine (back)

Finally, linebacker Dont'a Hightower (knee) has officially been removed from the injury report.
