Saints' Keenan Lewis, Dannell Ellerbe still sidelined; Mark Ingram limited

METAIRIE, La. – The New Orleans Saints got slightly healthier during the bye week, but four players were still missing from Wednesday’s practice.

Cornerbacks Keenan Lewis (hip/knee) and Damian Swann (concussion) and linebackers Dannell Ellerbe (hip) and David Hawthorne (thigh) did not participate Wednesday, leaving their status in doubt for Sunday’s game at the Houston Texans.

Linebackers Hau'oli Kikaha (ankle) and Ramon Humber (hamstring) returned to practice on a limited basis, which should help a group of linebackers that has been riddled by injuries in recent weeks.

Running back Mark Ingram (shoulder) and offensive tackle Terron Armstead (knee) also practiced on a limited basis.

It’s unclear if Ingram’s shoulder injury is the same issue that limited him during the Week 10 loss at Washington. But he was able to finish that game and had an extra bye week to recover, so the injury shouldn’t be a great concern at this point.
