Although it took more than two months, New Orleans Saints safety Rafael Bush won his appeal of a $21,000 fine he received for his playoff hit against Seattle Seahawks receiver Percy Harvin.
Bush's agent Brian Anderson confirmed the news after Bush tweeted:
"I just realized it took me 3 months to appeal my last fine yep can I have my 21 back now thank you"
Bush was penalized 15 yards at the time when officials ruled that he launched into a defenseless receiver. Harvin left the game to be tested for a concussion after the hit.
This has been a profitable week for Bush. He received a two-year deal from the Saints worth a reported $4.5 million after they decided to match a restricted-free-agent offer sheet that he signed with the Atlanta Falcons.
