The New York Giants released their 2015 training camp schedule Monday. If you want to catch them practicing in East Rutherford, New Jersey this year, your choices of dates are limited.
Because they are traveling to Cincinnati for a pair of joint practices with the Bengals Aug. 11-12 and because a few of their practice dates conflict with MetLife Stadium events and are closed to the public, only nine of this year's camp practices are open to the public. They are listed at the bottom of this post.
Giants players report to camp July 30 and will hold their first practice July 31. They travel to Cincinnati on Aug. 10 and practice there with the Bengals Aug. 11 and 12 in advance of their Aug. 14 preseason opener there.
Visitors to camp this year should get to see quarterback Eli Manning working more comfortably with star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. as each enters his second year in Ben McAdoo's offense. Visitors also will have their eyes on wide receiver Victor Cruz and his recovery from the knee injury that ended his 2014 season in Week 6. At this point, the Giants expect Cruz to be able to do some on-field work at some point early in camp, but they're not sure when exactly he'll be able to do that and how much.
The Giants also have no idea when they'll see defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul, who has been staying out of sight and hasn't been in communication with the team since he lost his right index finger in a fireworks accident July 4.
The Giants' two preseason home games are Aug. 22 against the Jaguars and Aug. 29 against the Jets, both at MetLife Stadium.
