After night under lights, Jets take day to rest before camp resumes

Sunday morning's wake-up call, Day 11 at New York Jets training camp:

What's happening: Nothing. After five straight days of practice (all in pads), the Jets have their second day off. They will resume practice Monday in Florham Park, New Jersey.

What's hot: Geno Smith said he will use the off day to meet with his coaches and review the tape of Saturday night's practice at MetLife Stadium. That's what quarterbacks do in their down time; they're never far from football. Brandon Marshall had a funny response when asked about taking a breather from training camp. "Nah, I'll rest when I retire," he said. Asked what he plans to do Sunday, he paused a moment. "Probably rest," he deadpanned. ... A number of injuries have to be evaluated: Muhammad Wilkerson (hamstring), Zac Stacy (undisclosed), Chris Owusu (concussion), T.J. Graham (hamstring), Walter Powell (groin), Steve Maneri (hamstring) and Shaquelle Evans (bruised ribs).
