The Brooklyn Nets have one open roster spot -- and it appears they plan on filling it.
Sources with knowledge of the situation told ESPN.com’s Marc Stein that the Nets are looking to make another 10-day signing, and have worked out Jorge Gutierrez and Darius Johnson-Odom as the prime contenders for that spot.
Gutierrez holds the advantage for the spot, having been with the Nets during training camp.
Johnson-Odom is with Brooklyn’s D-League affiliate, the Springfield Armor. The guard is averaging 22.6 points this season.
