Hollins: I think D-Will will be an All-Star

Brooklyn Nets coach Lionel Hollins continues to hype his point guard.

On Monday morning, Hollins told SiriusXM NBA radio when asked about Deron Williams: “I think he will be one of the top point guards in the league and I think he will be an All-Star.”

Williams, who has played in three All-Star Games, has not been selected since the 2011-12 season. He has been injury-plagued the past two seasons, but underwent offseason surgery on both of his ankles and has said he feels healthy.

No minutes cap: Nets general manager Billy King told SiriusXM that “there is no minute restriction” on either Williams or Brook Lopez (foot/ankle surgery).

“They’re practicing full boat,” King said. “Timmy [athletic trainer Tim Walsh] and the trainers are giving different guys a day off here and there, but [Deron and Brook] are gonna play and practice, and there hasn’t been any restrictions on either one of them.”
