Evans receives first warning for flopping

In the past, Brooklyn Nets reserve power forward Reggie Evans has been known for flopping.

On Saturday, Evans received his first warning from the NBA for violating the league’s new anti-flopping rules during Thursday night’s win over the Boston Celtics.

During the second quarter, Evans became tangled up with Jared Sullinger as Evans was trying to box him out. Sullinger elbowed Evans, who overdramatized the contact as to sell the call to the officials by falling to the floor.

Evans’ second violation would result in him being fined $5,000.

The rest of the fines for subsequent violations can be found here.
