Brooklyn Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov is slated to attend the team’s next three home games, his publicist confirmed to ESPN NewYork.com via E-mail.
"He's really looking forward to being there," Ellen Pinchuk wrote.
Prokhorov attended the team's first two home games of the season before heading back to Russia to continue his political career. He was excited for Nets-Knicks regular-season opener on Nov. 1, but it was postponed until Nov. 26 due to Superstorm Sandy. As a result, Prokhorov missed the game.
Prokhorov has said he wants to attend at least quarter of the team’s regular-season home games and then additional playoff games if the Nets get there.
The New York Post first reported that Prokhorov was scheduled to attend the next three home games.
