Frustrated Wallace calls out teammates

Brooklyn Nets forward Gerald Wallace is sick of losing -- and wishes his teammates felt the same way.

"It seems like guys are content with the situation that we are in, and I'm f------ pissed off about us losing, especially losing the way we are losing," Wallace said following the team's 108-93 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night, according to a tweet from Newsday's Rod Boone.

The Nets (14-14) are 3-10 in December and fell to .500 for the first time since Nov. 9, when they were 2-2. They're currently in eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Not exactly what many expected after they spent $330 million to upgrade their roster in the offseason.

After their 93-76 loss to Boston on Tuesday afternoon, CEO Brett Yormark tweeted that "Nets fans deserved better.” He later clarified through a team spokesman that he wasn't referring solely to their on-court performance.

The Nets host the Charlotte Bobcats, who have lost 16 games in a row, on Friday night.
