Brooklyn Nets shooting guard Joe Johnson (right quad/left heel) will miss his fourth straight game on Saturday night against the Utah Jazz, the team announced. Keith Bogans will once again start in his place.
The Nets are 2-1 in this current stretch without Johnson.
• Deron Williams, making his second trip to Utah since being traded to the Nets, hopes to quiet the Jazz crowd by leaving with a victory. In his return, Williams was held to just 3-for-15 shooting and his team lost, 107-94.
“Last time, it was tough,” Williams said, according to the New York Daily News. “The boos are tough. When you play somewhere for 5 1/2 years and give it your all, it’s tough to get booed. But it is what it is. It’s part of the game. That’s how they feel. It doesn’t bother me. It’ll be great to get a win and shut 'em up a little bit.”
