NEW YORK -- There have been close to 29,000 tickets sold already for the Pinstripe Bowl, according to New York Yankees president Randy Levine.
Levine, speaking at the pregame news conference before the Notre Dame-Army game at Yankee Stadium on Saturday, also said that sponsorships and advertising for the game are going very well.
The Pinstripe Bowl will be played at Yankee Stadium on Dec. 30, and will feature the fourth-place team from the Big East versus the seventh-place team from the Big 12.
Levine also said the Yankees hope to host three or four college football games per year at Yankee Stadium in the future. The Pinstripe Bowl will be the second of two games this season.
