Giants sign nine free agents

The New York Giants signed nine players as free agents who were on their practice squad.

Running back Andre Brown, fresh off his "I got a ring!" hit, will be back. Brown has promising talent and it will be interesting to see what the Giants will do with Brandon Jacobs, who has a $500,000 roster bonus due in March.

Quarterback Ryan Perrilloux, who was cut and re-signed to the practice squad like a million times this season, also was signed.

The others are defensive back Brandon Bing, offensive lineman Selvish Capers, wide receiver Dan DePalma, defensive tackle Dwayne Hendricks, tight end Christian Hopkins (one of only two healthy tight ends remaining on the team), wide receiver Isaiah Stanback and defensive end Adrian Tracy.
