"Sore" O'Hara hopes to practice this week

Giants center Shaun O’Hara said his right foot was “sore” on Monday but he hopes to practice on a normal schedule this week.

O’Hara returned to the field on Sunday after missing the past six weeks with a mild Lisfranc sprain in his right foot.

“I haven’t played football in quite a few weeks so it was like the first day of training camp, which also happened to be a game,” O’Hara said on Monday.

O’Hara has been limited to just five games this season. He missed a stretch of three games earlier in the year due to a left ankle and left Achillies injury.

The Giants offensive line as a whole has been decimated by injury. They have been forced to start six different combinations of starters on the line. Sunday’s game against Philadelphia was the first in which the original starting five took the field together since Week 7 at Dallas.
