The 244th pick: The Last 5 Years

2011: Lee Ziemba, G, Panthers

2010: Kurt Coleman, DB, Eagles

2009: Ricky Jean-Francois, DT, 49ers

2008: Angelo Craig, LB, Bengals

2007: Jason Snelling, RB, Falcons

Analysis: Considering it's such a low pick, 244 has been surprisingly productive. Maybe that bodes wel for the Jets. In fact, four of the last five still are active in the league. The biggest name is Snelling, who has 1,193 career rushing yards. Coleman has been a steady contributor, with five interceptions in two seasons. It's a long shot, but if a team has a good scouting department, it can uncover gems this low.
