The 77th pick: The Last 5 Years
2011: Jurrell Casey, DL, Titans
2010: Damian Williams, WR, Titans
2009: Antoine Caldwell, G, Texans
2008: Pat Sims, DT, Bengals
2007: Matt Spaeth, TE, Steelers
Analysis: The third round is a place where teams should find starting-caliber players, but this group doesn't exactly inspire hopes of grandeur. There are no true busts here, but we're not talking about any full-time starters, either. Sims and Spaeth have been contributors for the Bengals and Steelers, respectively; Williams shows signs of promise with 61 receptions in two seasons. But no one here belongs in a Pro Bowl conversation, that's for sure. You'd like to think the Jets could do better with this pick.
