Injury Report Analysis: Keller a DNP

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- This is the first official practice report of the season, per league rules. The news here is that TE Dustin Keller (hamstring) didn't practice. Later, Keller told reporters he ran a few pass routes and that he expects to play Sunday, but he acknowledged it won't be easy to play after missing so much practice time. Rex Ryan has maintained that he thinks Keller will play.

NT Sione Po'uha (lower back) practiced on a limited basis, but he still has to convince the medical staff he has the strength and flexibility to play the demanding nose-tackle position. Po'uha is confident he can; Rex Ryan sounds less confident. S Eric Smith (hip/knee) didn't practice, and he's a legitimate question mark. The rest are expected to play.
