Keller (ankle) ruled out

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jets made it official late Saturday afternoon, announcing that TE Dustin Keller has been ruled out for Sunday against the Jaguars.

Keller suffered a significant ankle sprain last Sunday, didn't practice all week and had been listed as doubtful. His hope is to make it back by the end of the season.

Jeff Cumberland and Konrad Reuland will handle the tight-end duties, with rookie Hayden Smith also likely active for the game.

The Jets also ruled out rookie DT Damon Harrison, who had been doubtful after injuring an ankle in practice.

The biggest injury question heading into the game involves backup QB Tim Tebow (ribs), who made the trip to Jacksonville. Rex Ryan said Friday he could dress all three quarterbacks for the game, with Greg McElroy likely assuming the No. 2 job.
