Jets will interview Giants' Ross

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- The Jets requested and received permission from the Giants to interview Marc Ross, the Giants' director of college scouting, for their now-vacant GM position.

Ross has spent five years in his current job. Previously, he worked as a scout for the Eagles and Bills.

You can scratch Eric DeCosta off the list of potential GM candidates.

The Ravens released a statement Monday, saying several teams have requested to speak with their assistant GM about GM openings. But DeCosta said in the statement: "I love being a part of the Ravens and plan to stay here and help them win championships. I have no intentions of leaving this team."
