FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Jets safety Ed Reed's absence at practice Thursday was not injury-related, while tight end Kellen Winslow missed with an illness. Reed has been receiving days off each week.
Cornerback Ellis Lankster, despite participating in positional drills, did not work out. Jets coach Rex Ryan said Lankster is dealing with pain in his jaw, which is due to a pulled tooth.
Ryan added he's not worried about any of the players who were limited in practice Thursday potentially missing the season finale against Miami.
