Jets practice: No Muhammad Wilkerson, Jace Amaro, Jeremy Kerley

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Several players were missing from practice Wednesday as the New York Jets began preparations for Sunday's trip to the Minnesota Vikings.

Defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson (turf toe), tight end Jace Amaro (concussion) and wide receiver Jeremy Kerley (unknown) were absent during the 30-minute window open to the media. On Tuesday, Rex Ryan expressed a hint of optimism that Wilkerson -- out of his walking boot -- could return this week. Don't bet on it, though.

Kicker Nick Folk (hip flexor) was present at practice, but there were no kicking drills during the media period. It looked as if he would get a day of rest.

The Jets made one minor roster move, signing defensive tackle Kona Schwenke (Notre Dame) to the practice squad.
