GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Knicks forward Metta World Peace had to leave practice after rolling his right ankle during a scrimmage, but he's fine, according to coach Mike Woodson.
"He went through pretty much everything until he went down," Woodson said. "I got word he’s OK and he’ll be ready to go tomorrow [against the Wizards] so we’ll just gauge it and see how he feels tomorrow."
During a scrimmage Wednesday, World Peace limped off under his own power and went toward the locker room area with a trainer in tow. Shortly after it was announced he was fine.
World Peace averaged 24 minutes in the first two preseason games before sitting out the most recent game against the Celtics.
