NEW YORK -- The silver lining in Jeurys Familia's four blown saves this season: The New York Mets have won all of those games.
Familia surrendered a pair of ninth-inning runs on Sunday, but the Mets ultimately posted a 3-2 win against the Los Angeles Dodgers in 10 innings at Citi Field.
Familia is 27-for-31 in save chances on the season, but 0-for-2 in the second half. He said he merely left a couple of sinkers over the plate while surrendering consecutive one-out hits to Adrian Gonzalez, Justin Turner and Yasmani Grandal in the ninth.
Familia insisted he is not out of gas. He is on pace for 74 appearances.
“I’m not tired,” Familia said. “I think everybody has a bad game. I had a couple of bad games. But I’m not tired.”
