BALTIMORE -- After a two-day hiatus while Class A St. Lucie played across the state, David Wright's rehab assignment resumed Tuesday with the Florida State League club.
Wright struck out once and walked three times in four plate appearances in a 5-2 loss against Bradenton. He also committed a throwing error -- his third error in four games playing third base.
Wright is now hitting .267 (4-for-15) with five walks with St. Lucie during his rehab assignment.
He is expected to join the New York Mets when the club opens a four-game series in Philadelphia on Monday.
Wright is working back from spinal stenosis in his lower back.
