Jose Reyes was taken out of Saturday's Subway Series game with tightness in his left hamstring, according to the team.
The Mets announced that Reyes suffered the injury while running out an infield single in the top of the first inning. It is not the same hamstring that limited Reyes to 36 games in 2009.
Ruben Tejada replaced Reyes at shortstop in the top of the third. He was removed for precautionary reasons, according to the team.
