Update: Pitcher R.A. Dickey left Sunday's game after experiencing tightness in his left glute, the team announced. His left leg slipped throwing a pitch during the fourth inning and Dickey exited the game after completing the top of the fifth.
R.A. Dickey fell 15 outs short of a no-hitter.
The knuckleballer gave up a double to Robinson Cano to start the inning and Nick Swisher singled to right to tie the game at 1-1. The Yankees loaded the bases with two outs, but Curtis Granderson grounded to second to end the inning.
Dickey gave up just two hits over five innings. The Mets pinch hit for him in the bottom of the fifth.
