“He came to the ballpark,” Collins said of Beltran, who has missed the last two games after coming down with the flu and a very high fever late Friday night. "He got an IV (Sunday). He got some fluids in him. He did not feel very good. He said his body is real sore. He may have even gotten another IV during the game, I’m not sure.

“As bad as he felt (Sunday), I’m not sure that he’s gonna be in there (Monday).

Willie Harris, who started in place of Beltran and batted third for the first time since Apr. 22, 2010 when he was with Washington, went 2-for-4 with a double, walk and run scored.

The 34-year-old Beltran leads the Mets with 14 home runs and 59 RBIs.
