Duda plays LF in initial Japanese action

PHOENIX -- Lucas Duda won't be playing outfield with the Mets in 2015, especially after the signing of Michael Cuddyer. But Duda was back in his old, uncomfortable position Monday as the MLB All-Stars beat a Hanshin/Yomiuri squad in an exhibition, 8-7, in Koshien, Japan to kick off the Asian tour.

Duda went 0-for-2 with two strikeouts and left three men on base after coming off the bench to play left field for the final five innings. The second ball in play by the Japanese squad after Duda entered was a lineout to him for the second out of the fifth inning.
